Ruff N Smooth Ft LIB Own Self Super Star DenG – Not What You Think.


DenG is a Native of Bong County Liberia and a Descendent of the Kpelle Tribe. DenG is the eldest child of Pastor Henry F.K. George and Getrude C. George and has two younger sisters and a brother. At the tender age of ten DenG joined his church choir where he and his family realized his gift of singing. When the Liberian civil war erupted, DenG alongside his family migrated to neighboring country Ghana, where he was able to improve his talent by singing and performing for locals while attending the Achimota secondary boarding school. DenG later joined a singing group and wrote the majority of their recorded demos but later parted from the group due to unresolved differences. DenG later traveled back to Liberia The Year of 2005 and enrolled in United Methodist University studying business management and accountant.

DenG Genre of music is called Koloqua Music. “Koloqua Music” Is a kind of African pop music played on electric instruments with Colloquial Lyrics of Liberian Origin, inspired by Western pop, soul music, Africa’s Afro-pop And Liberia’s Hip-Co. Koloqua Music Is Liberia’s Version Of Afropop. Globally DenG Musical Genre is Afropop

Ruff n Smooth is a Ghanaian based music group made up of Ruff (Bullet) & Smooth (Akhan). Although both have been on the music scene for a while, it was not till they formed an alliance that they both gained prominence. Ruff was formerly known as Etuoaboba and Akhan known as Osrani.
